• Welcome customers to Lowe’s and deliver friendly and professional service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Down stock merchandise by looking for empty areas on shelves and replenishing supplies.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise as expected and on time.
• Cross‑functionally train in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service.
• Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut and bundle wood, cut drywall, cut blinds).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

• Six months experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• Six months experience using common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets.
• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction).
• Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties.
• Minimum lifting requirement of 25 lbs unassisted or over 25 lbs with or without accommodation.

• Six months of retail and/or customer service experience.
• Bi‑lingual skills.
• Certification in a trade related to the department (e.g., hardware, kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden, lumber/building materials).

This role does not require regular travel; however, it may require occasional travel to meetings, training, or to support neighboring stores.

Environmental factors vary by location. Associates may work in both indoor and outdoor weather conditions, including extreme heat or cold, wet, damp, humid, windy, or drafty conditions. Noise may be constant or intermittent. Associates must follow guidelines limiting single lifts to 75 pounds and use team lifts from 75 pounds or when needed. Powered equipment is used as required with proper training or assistance.

Pay Range: $17.00 – $17.70 per hour. Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
