Purpose:

The Loss Prevention Specialist plays a crucial role in safeguarding the company's assets by preventing theft and fraud while ensuring safety and compliance with environmental standards. This position involves using various tools and strategies to minimize loss across assigned stores.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify incidents of theft and fraud effectively.
• Review CCTV footage and exception reports to gather evidence.
• Monitor and enhance physical security measures in the store.
• Audit Electronic Article Surveillance systems.
• Promote a culture focused on shrink elimination.
• Prepare comprehensive and accurate case reports documenting apprehensions and recovery of stolen items.
• Preserve evidence and collaborate with law enforcement as necessary.
• Provide testimony in criminal and civil court actions when required.
• Report any hazardous or unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty.
• Carry out all responsibilities with a focus on minimizing injury risks to oneself, fellow associates, vendors, and customers.
• Demonstrate integrity and professionalism at all times while addressing asset protection and operational concerns raised by associates.
