Tactical Security Officer – Loss Prevention
Garda World Security Services is now hiring a Tactical Security Officer – Loss Prevention. The role requires at least five years of security experience and a baton, OC spray, and handcuff permit. Benefits- Location:
Salinas, CA - Part‑time, 24 hours per week (Sunday–Tuesday, 5:30 pm–2:00 am)

- Observe, survey, and provide detailed reports on activity at the assigned location.
- Patrol indoor and outdoor areas in variable environments.
- Respond rapidly in critical situations.
- Read and write detailed reports.
- Enforce customer procedures, regulations, and standards.
- Patrol sensitive areas to spot suspicious activity.
- React quickly to threats or incidents.
- Detain and search individuals.
- Document incidents and actions taken.
- Respond to alarms and conduct on‑site checks.
- Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents.
- Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
- State security license and additional 32‑hour BSI Security training (additional training obtainable during the hiring process).
- High school diploma or GED.
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Minimum five years of security experience.
- 21+ years of age.
- Baton permit.
- OC spray permit.
- Handcuff permit.
- First aid certification (asset).
- Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift.
- Military, security, or law‑enforcement experience (preferred).
