Garda World Security Services US is hiring for a Tactical Security Guard – Loss Prevention. This role emphasizes environment awareness, risk anticipation, and appropriate action across assigned locations, including retail stores, airports, and detention centers. Residency with the ability to read and report observations is essential.

• Observe, survey the area, and provide reporting on activity at the assigned location.
• Work indoors and outdoors in variable environments; respond rapidly in critical situations.
• Read and write detailed reports; enforce customer procedures, regulations, and standards.
• Patrol sensitive areas to spot suspicious activity; react quickly to threats or incidents.
• Detain and search as required; document incidents and actions taken.
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks; collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents.
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.

• State security license and additional 32-hour BSIS security trainings (additional trainings can be obtained during hiring).
• Documentation of HS Diploma or GED.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• At least five years of security experience.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Must have baton permit, OC spray permit, and handcuff permit.
• Candidates with current or former military or law enforcement experience are encouraged to apply.
• First aid certification is an asset.
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift.
• Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience is a plus.
