Garda World Security Services is hiring a Tactical Security Guard – Loss Prevention.

• Observe and survey the assigned area and provide reporting on activity.
• Patrol indoor and outdoor environments as required.
• Provide rapid response in critical situations.
• Read and write detailed reports.
• Enforce customer procedures, regulations, and standards as appropriate.
• Patrol sensitive areas to spot suspicious activity.
• React quickly to threats or incidents.
• Detain and search when necessary in accordance with policy.
• Document incidents and actions taken.
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents.
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.

• State security license and additional 32-hour BSIS security trainings (additional trainings can be obtained during the hiring process).
• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent).
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Five years of security experience (minimum).
• 21 years of age or older.
• Permits: baton, OC spray, and handcuffs (where required).
• Candidates with current or former military or law enforcement experience are encouraged to apply.
• First aid certification is an asset.
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift.
• Experience in security, military, or law enforcement is advantageous.

  Part time, 24 hours per week.
  • Sunday – Tuesday, 5:30pm – 2:00am
• Competitive hourly wage: $34/hour (Daily Pay available for Garda World employees).
