We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our Salinas, California, warehouse team and contribute to our mission.

Position Overview: As a Rijk Zwaan USA Warehouse Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics. You will work closely with our warehouse team to ensure the efficient handling, storage, and distribution of seeds. This internship offers a unique opportunity to learn about the seed industry and develop valuable skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming seed shipments.
  • Help maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock checks.
  • Support the picking, packing, and shipping of orders to customers.
  • Participate in warehouse organization and cleanliness initiatives.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse processes and improve efficiency.
  • Learn and adhere to safety protocols and procedures.
Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant degree program (e.g., Agriculture, Supply Chain Management, Business, etc.).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move heavy items as required.
  • Interest in the seed industry and warehouse operations.
Internship Details
  • Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday-Friday
  • Duration: June - August (3 months)
