Buyer- Indirect Material and Services

JAC Products has an opportunity for a Commodity Buyer (Indirect & Material Services) to join our regional team in Saline, MI. In this role, you will be collaborating with the identified key JAC operations team members to develop and organize the MRO cribs for all operations. You will be responsible for organizing and creating part numbers for all crib and Indirect Materials, as well as planning and processing all regional Requisition s, Purchase Orders, and Requests for Quote.

• Experience in sourcing, procurement, and supplier relationship management
• Demonstrated negotiation skills
• Working knowledge of ERP systems (XA, Mapics, a plus)
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft office products
• High energy, self-motivated, passionate about success
• Ability to work productively, prioritize action items, and produce results while also being flexible to environmental changes
• Strives to be a team player throughout the department and all areas of the company.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, or the equivalent relevant experience
  -preferred
• 5 or more years of Tier 1 or 2 Automotive manufacturing experience- preferred
• Strong knowledge of OEM customer expectations, standards and systems
