What you will be doing:
TMNA ESV's (Electronic Systems Vehicle) Vehicle Development team is seeking a collaborative engineer to work on Functional ECUs and Smart Security. The primary responsibility of this role is vehicle development for Functional ECUs and Smart Security. Reporting to the Vehicle Development Senior Manager, the person in this role will work to fill Electronic Systems Vehicle's objective of building a NA electronics center of excellence that complements Our Client's Global direction.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Vehicle application of Functional ECUs (power slide door ECU, power tailgate ECU, Seat ECU, Window ECU, Sunroof ECU, etc.) and Smart Security (Smart ECU, Immobi, antennas, etc.).
  • Plan structure and design of Functional ECUs and Smart Security through target setting, packaging and style feasibility that balances performance, customer needs and cost while ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Issue design specifications to suppliers and manage supplier schedule, performance and quality.
  • Manage part list and issue internal design documents including engineering change instructions and wiring specifications.
What you'll need to be successful:
Essential:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Computer Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and interpersonal skills.
  • 5 years or more as an electrical design engineer.
  • Must be able to work up to 30% overtime.
Preferred:
Experience in vehicle electronics development.
Experience in CATIA.
