Now, we’re looking for a passionate and proactive Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Manager to join our team in Saline, MI.
As our HSE Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind a culture of safety and environmental stewardship. Your mission:
- Enforce FORVIA’s HSE Standards – Champion our global safety and sustainability rules.
- Lead Compliance Assessments – Conduct self‑assessments and guide operational teams with practical solutions.
- Track Key Metrics – Monitor and report on HSE KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
- Promote HSE Awareness – Lead impactful communication and training initiatives.
- Investigate & Improve – Analyze incidents, implement corrective actions, and prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate Externally – Work with auditors and providers to align with industry best practices.
- Internally: Partner with site employees, HSE teams, and occupational health professionals.
- Externally: Coordinate with safety consultants, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Health, Safety, Environmental Science, or equivalent industrial experience.
- Minimum 2 years of management experience in an industrial setting.
- Certifications in ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 (internal or lead auditor).
- Strong knowledge of risk analysis
