Overview
A leading manufacturer of liquid filtration equipment is looking for talented and motivated welders to join their team. Welders are responsible for the assembly, fitting, and welding of pressure vessels while holding the tolerances specified on the shop drawings. They have two production facilities - Ann Arbor and Saline.
ResponsibilitiesWelders are responsible for the assembly, fitting, and welding of pressure vessels while holding the tolerances specified on the shop drawings.
Qualifications- Must be proficient in the GTAW process for low carbon steel and stainless steel; aluminum would be a plus.
- FCAW-G process knowledge would be great, but not required.
- Familiarity with basic metal shop tools like die grinders, air files, electric grinders, and chop saws.
- Overhead crane and fork lift experience is a plus.
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
