Warehouse Shipper

STARTING RATE: $19-21/Hour

MMI Engineered Solutions is looking for reliable, detail-oriented, and motivated individuals to join our team as a Shipper
. The Shipper is responsible for handling all shipping duties, including preparing, labeling, and processing outgoing shipments, and maintaining accuracy and compliance in all warehouse activities.

• Process outgoing shipments through IQMS, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
• Process UPS and Fed Ex shipments.
• Receive and verify incoming materials, ensuring accuracy and proper inventory placement.
• Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records, including bills of lading and freight documents.
• Report any discrepancies, damages, or quality concerns immediately.
• Operate forklifts and hand‑held scanners safely and effectively.
• Ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) utilization and maintain 5S standards throughout the warehouse.
• Assist with quarterly inventory and general warehouse organization.
• Follow all safety and environmental procedures and maintain a clean work area.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment with shipping and receiving responsibilities.
• Forklift certified (or ability to become certified).
• Experience using scanner equipment and warehouse management systems (IQMS preferred).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Manufacturing environment that may be hot, noisy, or dusty.
• Requires substantial physical activity including reaching, lifting, and stepping on/off forklifts.
• Shipping and receiving performed in all weather conditions (snow, rain, heat).
• Responsible for ensuring all products meet quality standards before shipping.
