Job Description & How to Apply Below
A day in this role
You arrive to a production floor that’s humming. Before the first shot is ever taken, you’ve already reviewed setup documentation, quality books, process sheets, and work instructions. You stage your tools and gear—molds, thermolators, DME units, hoses, hydraulic connections, fixtures, and gauges—so the changeover is smooth and waste-free. You coordinate closely with the Shift Supervisor, Process Technicians, Material Handlers, and Operators to align on the run plan and production schedule.
With Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures front of mind, you install and secure the mold, bring the work center up, and complete startups. When jobs wrap, you execute controlled shutdowns, tear down molds, and store tooling and auxiliary equipment correctly. Throughout the shift, you troubleshoot issues as they arise, call out safety or quality concerns immediately, and maintain process standards from first piece to last.
