This is a Prototype Metrology / Dimensional Quality Technician role, not a general quality technician position. Looking for someone who can measure prototype vehicle parts, compare them to CAD models, and verify dimensional accuracy before production.
Best-fit candidate profile
The ideal candidate would have:
- 2-5 years of dimensional metrology experience in automotive, aerospace, heavy equipment, or manufacturing.
- Experience measuring Body-in-White (BIW), welded assemblies, fixtures, jigs, or stamped parts
. - Hands-on experience with 3D scanning and portable CMM equipment (ZEISS, ATOS, FARO, Hexagon, Creaform, etc.).
- Ability to read and manipulate 3D CAD models
. - Comfortable working in an R&D prototype environment where priorities change frequently.
- Strong attention to detail with a quality-first mindset.
