Coordinate Measuring Machine Programmer

Duration: 12 months contract with possibility of extension

Location: Saline, MI (Onsite)

Payrate: $28-$30 per hour on W‑2 basis without benefit/holidays/vacations

Shift Timing: 07:00 AM to 03:30 PM

• Operate ZEISS blue light, ATOS, and FARO equipment to measure body‑in‑white assemblies, individual components, and tooling.
• Generate detailed measurement data reports to verify accuracy, conformance, and build quality.
• Support prototype build activities, group requests, and other assigned tasks as needed.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to help address changing priorities and support multiple areas of need.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience with weldment, jig, or fixture measurement and scanning.
• Experience using CAD software to manipulate vehicle, component, and part data (at least 2 years in CATIA, NX/Unigraphics, Creo, Solid Works, etc.).
• Experience creating measurement plans from CAD software and data points (at least 2 years).
• Supports customer objectives by adapting to changing priorities and assisting in multiple functional areas as required.
• Exhibits a customer‑focused mindset through flexibility, responsiveness, and willingness to support a range of assignments and responsibilities.

• Associate degree in Metrology or Quality Engineering, or a related technology field.
• Experience using KPIs for goal setting and process management.
• Experience with Quality Circle activities or other structured problem‑solving methods, such as TBP.
