Surveillance Security Officer – Garda World Security Services

This position requires a sharp eye and strong observation skills to monitor security systems and detect threats before they escalates in various environments such as security operations centers, call centers, and parking gatehouses.

  Full-time, Saturday through Sunday, 1st shift, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.;
  Monday through Tuesday, 2nd shift, 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.;
  Thursday, 2nd shift, 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.

• Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
• Control access to secure areas and verify the identities of visitors
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Documentation of high school diploma or GED
• Successful completion of an extensive screening process
• Strong report writing skills
• Sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills
• Strong proficiency with technology
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience (preferred)
• At least 21 years of age
• Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience in a fast‑paced environment
• Dispatch experience is highly preferred, but not required
• Valid driver’s license and successful MVR check

Employment is contingent on the successful completion of a background check and drug screening conducted after an offer of employment is extended.
