The Field Service Technician travels to customer facilities (domestic and occasional international travel possible) to install, commission, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair Klingelnberg machinery.

This role requires strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, professional communication skills, and a commitment to exceptional customer service. Travel is a regular part of the position and may include overnight stays (travel percentage varies based on workload).

• Install, test, and commission advanced machinery at customer sites
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems
• Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs
• Prepare detailed service reports and installation documentation
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams
• Support sales and service teams with technical expertise
• Provide high-quality technical support on-site and via phone/email

• 2+ years of experience in field service, equipment maintenance, or related technical work
• Experience with CNC machinery, industrial machining tools, or manufacturing environments
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with diagnostic tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a customer-facing environment
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently

• Technical certifications in electronics, mechanical systems, or industrial maintenance
• Experience working in precision manufacturing environments
