Position: Electrical Apprentice Opportunities
Join Valard Construction as an Electrical Apprentice through the Canadian Union of Skilled Workers in Salisbury, New Brunswick. This role focuses on substation construction, equipment installation, and cable management.

We are recruiting Electrical Apprentices for Valard Construction, starting June 4, 2026. This position offers hands-on experience in a competitive work environment. Key responsibilities include working on ground and high-voltage equipment installations while ensuring safety. Previous experience in electrical work is beneficial but not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Construct substations with precision

• Install ground grids and high-voltage equipment

• Execute grounding procedures for equipment

• Perform rigid and flexible bus installations

• Conduct cable pulling and terminating tasks

Requirements:

• Interest in electrical trades and apprenticeships

• Ability to lift and carry 25kg over distances

• Capable of reading and comprehending technical documents

• Physical stamina for outdoor and height-related work

• Commitment to safety and quality standards
