Job DescriptionAttention all process wizards and manufacturing maestros! We’re on the hunt for a Process Engineer extraordinaire to join our dream team in Salisbury. As our new Process Sorcerer you will optimize our manufacturing processes, turbo‑charge our efficiency, and ensure our products are of the highest quality.
Due to the top‑secret nature of our products, you must be a U.S. citizen.
Here’s what you’ll be doing in this role:
- Develop, implement, and maintain procedures that run smoother than a freshly oiled machine.
- Analyze existing processes and recommend improvements that increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Create SOPs, work instructions, and process flow charts that are clear and detailed.
- Design process control systems and quality assurance measures that are robust and dependable.
- Work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams to resolve technical issues and elevate product quality.
- Conduct root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process deviations.
- Manage process improvement projects from concept through implementation.
- Provide technical support and training to build a highly capable team.
- Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies to promote continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards.
- Participate in new product development and process scale‑up activities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of process engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in CNC programming and equipment operation.
- Experience with electronic assembly, , soldering, and PCB board placement.
- Familiarity with quality systems and ERP systems such as SAP.
- Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing experience (Yellow or Green Belt preferred).
- Strong problem‑solving skills with a data‑driven approach.
- Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and environmental compliance in manufacturing settings.
