Manufacturing Engineer

A growing defense technology company is hiring a hands‑on Manufacturing Engineer to take new electro‑mechanical products from design through production. This is a build‑it role. You’ll own the processes, the tooling, and the technical calls that turn a design package into a product that ships.

• Take new products from development into production alongside R&D, design, and supply chain
• Develop and validate manufacturing processes, tooling, fixtures, and assembly methods
• Own the technical data package: interpret engineering drawings, PCBA schematics, BOMs, and specs for internal teams and suppliers
• Define and optimize assembly and test processes for electro‑mechanical systems
• Run root cause analysis and corrective action on production issues
• Drive lean manufacturing and continuous improvement

• 5 years in manufacturing engineering, ideally electro‑mechanical or defense/aerospace
• Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering or related field
• Hands‑on New Product Introduction (NPI) and design‑for‑manufacturing (DFM) experience
• Fluent in Solid Works and reading engineering drawings with GD&T
• Strong electro‑mechanical assembly background

• PCBA, BOM, and TDP experience
• CNC, injection molding, sheet metal, 3D printing, or composites
• ERP/PLM systems, IPC standards, Lean Six Sigma
