Description
Team members are classified based on individual theatre needs and/or employee availability as variable hour, part‑time fixed, part‑time regular or full‑time hourly employees whose primary responsibility is ensuring guests receive exceptional service. They may be scheduled to work in the Box Office, Concession Stand or as an Usher. Team members must act as a representative of Regal in a manner consistent with the company’s mission statement and policies.
- Regular and consistent attendance

- Operate the POS system, ensuring the accurate handling of cash, credit cards, travelers’ checks, gift cards and redeemed discount tickets, passes and coupons.
- Upsell and suggestively sell Premium Viewing Experience options (3D, RPX, IMAX).
- Promote the Regal Crown Club program.
- Ensure tickets are sold in accordance with the MPAA rating system and company policy.
- Respond to phone calls and questions from guests in a manner consistent with the guest service philosophy.
- Operate the POS system, managing cash drawer accuracy, credit cards, travelers’ checks, gift cards and redeemed coupons, as well as concession stock inventory.
- Promote the Regal Crown Club program.
- Operate, prepare and clean all concession‑related equipment.
- Upsell and suggestively sell products.
- Comply with all local, state and federal food safety laws.
- Adhere to all federal and state laws regarding breaks and/or meal periods.
- Maintain current alcohol certification and training where applicable.
- Apply to sell or serve alcohol only if of legal age and required by state or local laws.
- Read and understand training materials covering sexual harassment and discrimination.
- Tear tickets, collect and deposit appropriate stubs, and direct patrons to their auditoriums.
- Inspect backpacks and packages when applicable.
- Manage crowd control and assist guests in finding seats in auditoriums when necessary.
- Enforce the MPAA rating system.
- Conduct in‑theatre inspections to monitor picture and sound quality, watch for film and content theft, and help maintain a safe quality environment.
- Report problems, discrepancies or unusual situations to management.
- Perform in‑auditorium concession auxiliary sales as directed by management.
- Clean auditoriums at the end of scheduled shows and maintain cleanliness of restrooms, lobby area, hallways and other areas outside the auditorium.
- Monitor the cleanliness and operation of theatre vending equipment.
- Assist with all opening and closing duties as assigned by management.
$15.00 per hour

Education/ExperienceCompletion of the cast certification program for cast members and for box office cashiers, or progress towards completion, is required.
If the theatre sells alcohol and the assigned duties include selling or serving alcohol, the employee is responsible for completing any legally required state or local training and obtaining the required certificate. Additionally, completion of the Regal Responsible Beverage Server training on Regal Online University is required.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit and use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; speak or hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee may occasionally be required to lift up to 60 pounds. Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
