ERP Tech Solutions Manager

Must relocate to Salisbury Maryland for 5 days a week on-site

Optomi, in partnership with a major U.S. foods and agriculture company, is looking for an ERP Tech Solutions Manager.

This is a manager position for ERP infrastructure. The team supports two SAP environments: SAP S4460 (order-to-cash, marketing, trade promotion management) and SAP S4

HANA (RISE cloud environment). Over the next two years, the SAP S4460 environment will be migrated to RISE and sunset. The role involves managing a team of four (two focused on SAP Basis and two on SQL databases) and ensuring on-premises infrastructure continues to function effectively while forging strong vendor relationships with SAP.

The team consists of four members: two focused on SAP Basis support and two on SQL database support. The team manages 300 SQL databases and two SAP environments. • 8 years of ERP experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role
• SAP Basis knowledge (ECC or S4
  
  HANA)
• Experience managing people and developing their careers
• Vendor relationship management experience, particularly with SAP
• Ability to handle technical aspects (20‑30%) and coordinate effectively
• Familiarity with SQL databases
• Willingness to roll up sleeves and handle business requests

• Experience with SAP S4
  
  HANA in a cloud environment (e.g., RISE, GCP, Azure, AWS)
• Background in SAP Basis with progression to management
