System Administrator ; MM Security Clearance

Provides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of information Technology (IT) systems, managing IT system infrastructure and related processes.

• Support day‑to‑day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
• Perform Tier 1 (Help Desk), Tier 2 (Escalation) and Tier 3 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution.
• Assist users in accessing and using IT systems; perform account management (create, activate, modify, disable, remove).
• Configure and manage UNIX, Linux and Windows operating systems; install/load OS software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity, configure network components and implement OS enhancements for reliability and performance.
• Perform periodic vulnerability scans and apply security patches (IAVA) with documentation in appropriate systems of record.
• Support operation of dispatch system and hardware problems, remaining involved in resolution.
• Communicate and coordinate with ISSO and ISO regarding system changes as part of the Change and Configuration Management Process.
• Support ISO by completing required milestones of Plan of Action & Milestones (POA & M) and coordinating completion status with ISSO within source system of record for security authorizations.
• Ensure IT assets remain compliant with Identity & Access Control Management (ICAM) policy.
• Optimize system operations and resource utilization; perform capacity analysis and planning.
• Analyze and resolve complex problems associated with server hardware, applications and software integration.
• Support the design of systems, mission architecture and associated hardware.
• Apply knowledge of mission islands, Trusted Thin Client and enhanced VDI (remote GPU and memory scaling).
• Possess a working knowledge and understanding of system administration interdependencies as part of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).

• Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university (or four years of additional SA experience).
• Twenty (20) years’ experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• DoD 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level III certification.
• Computing Environment (CE) certification (Microsoft OS or Cent OS/Red Hat OS).
• Eight (8) years of experience with Service Management (ITSM).
• ITIL 4 platform certification.
• For Directory Services TTOs: experience with Active Directory, Identity Management, SCCM, DNS, Group Policy, Active Role Servers, Privileged Account Management (PAM) services, and MS Exchange.
• For Desktop & Enclave Services TTOs: understanding of mission islands, Trusted Thin Client, and enhanced VDI (remote GPU and memory scaling).
