IT Support, Systems Engineer
Job Overview
A client of Insight Global is seeking a Software Integrator to support a DOW program at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG). The Software Developer will provide software support for laptops, desktops, system storage, and servers, including configuring hardware devices, testing new software, and designing network structures.
Responsibilities- Monitor and develop system configurations within mixed environments (Windows, Linux, and containerized platforms) using tools such as Puppet, Ansible, and Kubernetes.
- Review logs and outputs for server errors, including Java, Ruby, and Python issues.
- Create, modify, and maintain scripts in Power Shell, Bash, and Shell.
- Utilize containerization platforms such as Docker or Podman to support application deployment and management.
- Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Six years of relevant experience.
- Containerization experience with any products (Pod Man, Kubernetes, Docker, ArgoCD, etc.).
- Experience using CI/CD systems such as Atlassian Bit Bucket, Jira, or Git Hub.
- Experience with in the last five years with scripting languages:
Bash, Power Shell, Python.
$50/hr – $70/hr (exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education).
