Overview

Responsibilities- As the Attack, Sensing, Warning, and Response (ASWR) analyst, analyze collected data to determine if systems monitored are operating normally or attacked by an adversary.
- Analyze data to detect an Insider Threat.
- Develop new dashboards and analytics to refine existing reports and create new reports.
- Collaborate with System Engineers and System Administrators to define audit data and reduce false positives/negatives.
- Basic Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Information Assurance or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience with an Indications and Warnings monitoring tool.
- Experience with one or more of the following:
Stealth Watch, Trip Wire, Zenoss, Arc Sight. - Experience tuning audit data to reduce false positives and false negatives.
- Experience in responding to detected security incidents.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Solid understanding of network intrusion detection methods and techniques.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Network Security Operations Center (SOC) experience preferred.
- Experience creating dashboards and analytics within a SIEM tool.
- Experience creating workflows for Incident Response within a SIEM tool.
- Experience with Stealth Watch, Trip Wire, Zenoss, and Arc Sight.
- CISSP Certification.
- GIAC Certified Incident Handler Certification.
- GIAC Cyber Threat Intelligence Certification.

The base salary range provided is not adjusted for geographic differences associated with where the work is being performed.
