Senior Systems Engineer - Partial Telework

Glia Cell is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer on one of our subcontracts. This full‑time position supports a U.S. Government customer, providing technical expertise to sustain critical mission‑related software and systems for a large government contract.

• Possess an active or rein‑statable TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
• Fourteen (14) years of experience as a Systems Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity;
  Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management or related discipline, or five (5) years additional Systems Engineer experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
• Works well independently as well as on a team.
• Background in compliance and Kubernetes.
• Strong grasp of Kubernetes networking, configuration, and deployment across secure environments.
• Proven ability to support compliance‑driven sustainment activities with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent collaboration skills with both technical team members and mission stakeholders.
• Solid documentation and tracking skills using enterprise tools.
• Ability to adapt quickly to evolving security and mission needs.

• Experience with Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools such as Terraform, Salt, and Ansible.
• Familiarity with Rancher, Helm, and advanced Kubernetes features.
• Working knowledge of observability tools like Elasticsearch, Kibana, and Grafana.
• Security+ (CWIP) or equivalent certification preferred.

Annapolis Junction, MD / Partial Telework (up to 16 hours per week)

The salary range for this full‑time position is $170,000 to $260,000. Salary is determined by position, level, skills, professional experience, relevant education and certifications. Within the range, your salary is determined by your individual benefits package selection. Sign‑on bonus eligible.
