Our expertise is in the design and manufacture of communications‑based specialty products – engineered components and subsystems – for demanding military, space, commercial aerospace/industrial, and telecom infrastructure applications where function and reliability are crucial.

Sets‑up and operates machine tools to cut, shape and form metal stock and castings to exact sizes, using detailed drawings, CAD systems and specifications. Determines dimensions and tolerances of job to be machined. Uses machine tools ranging from lathes to milling machines. May operate console/computer (CNC) controlled machine(s). Utilizes precision measuring instruments to check accuracy of work.

High School Diploma or GED plus 4 years of related machine shop experience. Mathematical skills required with emphasis on plane and solid geometry. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating manuals and technical materials. Position also requires machine shop training in mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties and layout and machining procedures. Specialized machine operation training or apprenticeship a plus.

Demonstrated knowledge of machine operation safety.

Work environment involves moderate risks requiring special safety precautions. Personal protective equipment required while machines are in use and in designated areas. High noise volume requires use of appropriate hearing protection devices or PPE.

$27.00 - $31.00 per hour

Eligible to earn a discretionary bonus based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in applicable bonus plan.
