We are seeking a dependable and motivated Machine Operator
to join our production team. The Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and performing basic maintenance on various machinery and equipment in a manufacturing environment.
The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, quality-focused, mechanically inclined, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
Requirements- Set up and operate production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Monitor machine operation and make adjustments as needed to maintain production standards.
- Inspect products to ensure they meet quality specifications and company standards.
- Perform basic machine maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting.
- Follow all safety procedures, operating instructions, and company policies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Communicate effectively and respectfully with team members, supervisors, and other departments.
- Work collaboratively to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Identify and communicate equipment, quality, or production issues to the Production Supervisor.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts and provide suggestions for improving processes, quality, safety, and efficiency.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
- High school diploma or GED certificate required.
- Ability to read and write English.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a production environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Skills & Qualifications
- Basic computer skills and computer literacy.
- Mechanically inclined with an interest in troubleshooting and equipment operation.
- Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience is a plus.
