Overview
At Future Care our Dialysis Registered Nurses are skilled in handling patients with chronic kidney diseases. They are responsible for the delivery of all dialysis related nursing services for end stage renal dialysis (ESRD) patients in chronic settings. They assess, administer medications, monitor patients throughout dialysis, and educate them on kidney disease and lifestyle choices that help them manage their disease.

Salary Disclosure Statement
Salary above reflects potential base pay range. Bonuses or incentives will be paid separately based on program schedule. All offers consider experience, qualifications, location, certifications.
- Supervise and perform direct patient care including vital signs, initiation and termination of dialysis, documentation, physical assessment, take and transcribe physicians’ orders, blood draws, and documentation of laboratory work.
- Assess patients’ general physical and mental condition, review dialysis orders, and document observations.
- Analyze assessments and lab data; bring concerns to physicians.
- Communicate emergencies, life‑threatening complications, and incidents to Superior, Medical Director, Regional Director.
- Assess patient and family readiness; provide information on renal disease, dialysis, and impact on health.
- Provide dialysis therapy, formulate plans per orders, set weight and rate of ultrafiltration, verify safety, administer meds, disconnect dialysis, document all activity.
- Educate patients on pre‑ and post‑dialysis care.
- Administer patient quality care in a respectful manner.
- Participate in development and implementation of short‑term and long‑term patient plans.
- Active Registered Nurse license in Maryland.
- Nursing degree from an accredited institution.
- New graduates with at least one year of post‑licensure experience considered.
- Preferred 2 years of dialysis experience.
- Current CPR license required.
- Complete training programs approved by Medical Director and governing body before operating water treatment system.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Office.
