, our Administrator-in-Training (AIT) Program provides a unique opportunity to develop the skills, knowledge, and hands‑on experience needed to lead high‑quality operations and deliver exceptional resident care.
This 12-month, company-sponsored program is designed to prepare future Licensed Nursing Home Administrators (LNHA) through comprehensive training and mentorship across all areas of facility operations. Throughout the program, you'll work alongside experienced administrators and department leaders, gaining valuable leadership experience in Nursing, Human Resources, Admissions, Finance, Environmental Services, Dietary, and Operations.

Hourly Range $36-$38/hr (ALL INCLUSIVE)
Responsibilities of Administrator in Training- Participate in hands‑on training experiences across all departments to gain a comprehensive understanding of facility operations.
- Support administrators and department leaders with daily operational tasks to ensure smooth, efficient facility operations.
- Learn to plan, organize, develop, and implement programs, policies, procedures, and initiatives that support quality care and operational excellence.
- Assist in monitoring compliance with all applicable state, federal, and regulatory requirements.
- Engage with residents, families, staff, visitors, and external agencies in a professional, respectful, and solution‑oriented manner.
- Observe and contribute to leadership decision‑making processes, meetings, and strategic planning initiatives.
- Develop skills in problem‑solving, communication, and team leadership through active participation and mentorship.
- Support initiatives that promote resident satisfaction, staff engagement, and continuous quality improvement.
- Bachelor's degree required in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, or a related field.
- Previous long‑term care (LTC) experience is required
. This requirement ensures candidates have a foundational understanding of the long‑term care environment before beginning the Administrator‑in‑Training Program. - Passion for pursuing a long‑term career in healthcare administration.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact tactfully and professionally with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, and the general public.
- Strong ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures necessary for providing quality care and maintaining a sound operation.
- Demonstrated professionalism, accountability, and a strong desire to grow into a leadership role within healthcare administration.
