As a Senior Meat Cutter you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.
What You'll Do- Be a team member: collaborate with cross‑functional teams, educate other associates on tools and resources, communicate effectively, develop interpersonal skills, provide customer service, remain flexible to business needs, track goods, maintain inventory levels, and control shrinkage.
- Be an expert: maintain in‑depth knowledge of meat types and seasonality, use equipment and perform backroom operations, process meat to specifications (cutting, slicing, grinding, wrapping), ensure compliance with food‑safety standards and sanitation guidelines, and manage inventory.
- Be a techie: leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, engage associates with handheld technology, make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality, and adapt to new tools.
- Be an owner: drive business results, plan for profitability, maintain a work area according to policies, ensure quality and high‑volume standards, eliminate waste, secure fragile and high‑shrink merchandise, assist members with purchasing decisions, and properly package, label, and store merchandise.
- Be a talent ambassador: advocate for the department and the club, model high‑quality service and products, execute basics with the highest quality, interact with associates to identify roadblocks, and assist in their training.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity, implement action plans using the Open Door Policy, and apply them in business processes.
- Complete work assignments by using policies, data, and resources, collaborating with managers and coworkers, identifying priorities, meeting deadlines, communicating progress, and recommending improvement opportunities.

The hourly wage range for this position is $20.00 to $28.00. Additional compensation may be paid in premiums ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if criteria are met.

- Six months of experience working in a fresh production department.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must successfully complete all required trainings and assessments within the prescribed time period.
- Experience in a meat processing area.
