Position SummaryProvides member service, maintains the checkout and entrance/exit areas, resolves member issues, promotes Sam's Club products and services, guides members on self‑service technology, processes purchases, assists with payment, returns, refunds, and exchanges, and follows company safety, security and ethical standards.
Responsibilities- Maintain checkout process and stay organized.
- Resolve member issues and concerns promptly.
- Promote Sam's Club products and services during interactions.
- Guide members in using self‑service technology and mobile applications.
- Process member purchases, payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges in accordance with policies.
- Conduct safety sweeps and report unsafe situations to management.
- Maintain entrance and exit areas, verify membership cards, and identify member needs.
- Assist members with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, and transporting items.
- Secure and safeguard club assets by monitoring for potential criminal activity.
- Maintain paperwork, logs, and required documentation.
- Execute emergency response procedures and ensure compliance with security and safety practices.
- Train new Member Frontline Services associates on processes, technology, and program rollouts.
- Continuously learn and provide process improvement opportunities.
- Ensure merchandise area is organized, zones the area, and identifies shrink and damages.
- Apply company ethics, Open Door policy and maintain integrity in all business processes.
- Retail experience, including operating front‑end equipment such as a cash register.
- Working knowledge of mobile retail applications.
- Experience in a customer‑service or retail environment.

The hourly wage range for this position is $18.00 to $26.00. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
