Job Description

The Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales, distribution, and brand presence within an assigned territory. This field‑based role focuses on building customer relationships, executing sales strategies, and ensuring company brands are consistently represented at the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with store managers and key account contacts.
  • Drive outside sales revenue and increase distribution of company brands.
  • Prospect for new accounts through regular outside sales calls.
  • Service the account on every visit, including light merchandising.
  • Lead, schedule, and at times execute resets in order to expand portfolio.
  • Develop and execute sales plans to meet volume and distribution goals.
  • Anticipate objections and provide effective solutions.
  • Ensure product is in code, saleable, and properly merchandised.
  • Maintain or increase shelf space and secure secondary displays.
  • Monitor competitive activity and report market insights.
  • Support promotional events, grand openings, and special dealer requests.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries and voicemails.
  • Complete all required paperwork accurately and on time.
  • Maintain company equipment and property in clean, working condition.
  • Follow all company policies, safety standards, and recall procedures.
Qualifications Required
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid driver’s license, personal vehicle, and insurance.
  • Minimum of two years of successful sales and/or customer service experience.
Preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Prior sales experience in a related industry.
Additional Details
  • Field‑based role with daily travel to customer accounts.
  • Indoor and outdoor working environments.
  • Office tasks completed primarily at customer locations.
  • Use of standard office equipment and Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
Physical Requirements
  • Regular standing, walking, reaching, and bending.
  • Occasional lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 100 lbs.
  • Frequent driving and data entry.
