Account Executive

Responsibilities

• Learn the ins and outs of our Broadcast + Digital Marketing Products.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities through in-person meetings with clients, research, daily cold-calling, and cultivation of existing business.
• Collaborate with internal partners to drive revenue, create effective marketing campaigns, and deliver compelling sales presentations fueled by data.

• Self-motivated go-getter attitude with excellent relationship-building and problem-solving skills.
• Goal-oriented, expert negotiator, and proactive.
• Ability to plan and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable with cold-calling and initiating outreach to prospective clients.
• A valid driver's license, auto insurance, and a High School Diploma (college degree preferred).
• Skilled in Salesforce, Microsoft Office, and social networking platforms.
• Strong problem-solving skills to help business grow to its fullest potential.
• Digital/Media sales experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to organize and prioritize day-to-day tasks.
• Nice-to-haves include experience managing complex multi-platform campaigns, analytics, iHeart and/or audio advertising background, and being well-connected in the market.

• Respect for others and a strong belief that others should do this in return.
• General understanding of business principles and sales environment.
• Interest in developing knowledge of business operations and sales concepts.
• Individual accountability and understanding of when to seek guidance.
• Skills managing assigned projects to completion.
• Ability to resolve problems using established guidelines and professional judgement.
• Ability to communicate information about iHeart products in a digestible manner and to apply active listening skills to validate understanding of customer needs.

This position will be paid on a 100% commission basis.

  Complete onboarding journey and job-specific trainings.
• Week 2:
  Spend time with manager to align on work, communication styles, priorities, and expectations.
• Week 3:
  Start owning your role and lean into real day-to-day responsibilities with manager’s support.

  Prioritize a 30-day check-in to assess needs for success.
