As a Security Officer Access Monitor in SALISBURY , MD
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and help to deter security‑related incidents through a visible presence and routine activity. Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and drivers by carrying out access control procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and credentials, process guest and vendor access, and document arrivals, departures, and other access‑related activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and report unusual activity, policy violations, and security‑related concerns to site contacts and/or leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, including checkpoints such as gates, parking areas, loading and receiving zones, and other assigned areas where working conditions may vary by site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
