Denali Water Solutions is seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Equipment Operator to support daily operations at facilities.

About the Role

This position is responsible for operating tractors, loaders, forklifts, and other production equipment while assisting with material movement, site maintenance, and equipment upkeep. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, capable of working independently, and willing to perform both equipment operation and general labor in an outdoor environment.

This role requires an individual who is comfortable troubleshooting equipment, performing minor mechanical repairs, and maintaining production equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations. Candidates must be flexible to work weekends as business needs require and be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

This position is safety-sensitive and requires a clear mind and diligence. Employees are responsible for their own safety as well as the safety of others.

  • Safely operate tractors, loaders, forklifts, and other heavy equipment to support daily production operations.
  • Transport raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the facility.
  • Load and unload trailers, trucks, and customer vehicles.
  • Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of all assigned equipment.
  • Conduct routine preventative maintenance on equipment, including checking fluids, greasing components, and replacing filters.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform minor repairs to small engines and production equipment.
  • Complete basic trailer repairs, including lights, tires, wiring, and minor mechanical maintenance.
  • Assist with maintaining tractors and farm equipment used in daily operations.
  • Monitor equipment performance and promptly report major maintenance needs.
  • Perform general labor tasks including lifting, shoveling, raking, sweeping, and site cleanup.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
  • Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and environmental procedures.
  • Work independently while maintaining productivity and quality standards.
  • Assist with additional operational duties as assigned.
  • Be available to work weekends, overtime, and varying schedules based on operational needs.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Experience operating tractors, loaders, forklifts, or similar heavy equipment.
  • Mechanical knowledge of small engines and routine equipment maintenance.
  • Experience performing basic trailer repairs and preventative maintenance.
  • Tractor or farm equipment experience preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, shoveling, bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds or more on a regular basis.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, mud, and dust.
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in agriculture, construction, or similar outdoor industrial environments.
  • Basic welding or fabrication experience.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic systems, diesel engines, and heavy equipment maintenance.
