Asbestos Abatement Laborer

Job Responsibilities

• Perform asbestos and lead abatement, including removal, containment, and proper disposal of hazardous materials on military, industrial, and commercial construction projects.
• Set up containment areas using plastic sheeting, negative air machines, and decontamination units.
• Follow all federal, state, and company safety regulations when handling hazardous materials.
• Wear and maintain proper personal protective equipment (PPE) and respirators at all times on job sites.
• Assist with demolition and removal of contaminated building materials such as insulation, flooring, and piping.
• Transport, label, and dispose of hazardous materials in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment within containment zones and surrounding areas.
• Work closely with supervisors and team members to complete projects efficiently and safely.
• Travel to various job sites across the Hampton Roads area as assigned (one project at a time).

• Must be able to pass background checks for military base access.
• Must have a Real .
• Have a vehicle and ability to drive to project sites within Salisbury, MD and surrounding DE area as assigned.
• Strong awareness of safety procedures in construction environments.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.

• Asbestos License or Certification

• Monday–Friday 7:00am–3:30pm
