Field Service Technician

Carlton Industrial Solutions is looking for a hands-on Field Service Technician to keep customers' industrial weighing equipment running safely, accurately, and on schedule. You'll be the person customers count on when something needs fixing, calibrating, or installing—and the one who helps them avoid costly downtime.

This is more than a repair job. You'll build real relationships with customers, work independently in the field, and play a direct role in keeping their operations safe and productive.

If it's made, it's weighed—from food to pharmaceuticals. When equipment is off, production slows, quality drops, and people can get hurt. You'll be the one customers count on to keep things safe, accurate, and running.

• Perform maintenance, calibration, repair, and installation on industrial weighing equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
• Complete service calls safely and efficiently
• Communicate clearly with customers on what you find and what's next
• Document your work (service notes, time, and results)
• Identify and address safety risks on job sites
• Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle
• Support team and customer needs as they come up
• Participate in on-call rotation and overtime as needed

• Travel up to 25% across CIS territories (may vary based on business needs)
• Lift/move equipment (50–100 lb.)
• Work in industrial environments (heights, confined spaces, varying conditions)
• Use of PPE required

• Mechanical aptitude with basic electrical understanding
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently in the field
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet DOT/customer requirements
• Clear communication and documentation skills
• A customer-first mindset—because what we do matters, we show up when they need us
• Flexibility—this isn't the same schedule every day. Some days start early, run long, or change on the fly, and you're good with that

• Experience with industrial equipment or service work
• Technical training or related experience
