• Conduct Discovery assessments to identify each person’s strengths, interests, skills, and career goals.
• Develop individualized employment plans using Person-Centered Planning.
• Assist individuals with career exploration and vocational goal setting.
• Provide job readiness training, including:
  • Resume development
  • Employment applications
  • Interview preparation
  • Workplace communication
  • Professional behavior
• Develop partnerships with local businesses and employers.
• Match individuals with competitive, integrated employment opportunities.
• Provide one‑on‑one job coaching before, during, and after employment.
• Teach workplace skills and promote independence on the job.
• Support employers with disability awareness and workplace accommodations.
• Monitor participant progress and provide ongoing employment retention support.
• Complete documentation that complies with Maryland DDA regulations and agency standards.
• Participate in Person-Centered Planning meetings and interdisciplinary team meetings.
• Collaborate with families, support coordinators, vocational rehabilitation counselors, employers, and community partners.
• Travel throughout the community to meet participants at homes, workplaces, and community locations.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA and agency policies.

• High school diploma or GED required;
  Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, Rehabilitation, or a related field preferred.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Knowledge of DDA Employment Services, Supported Employment, and Person-Centered Planning is a plus.
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel within the community.
• Ability to pass required background checks.

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to travel regularly throughout the community to participant homes, workplaces, and community locations.
• Ability to support individuals in various employment and community settings.
