Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Developing, maintaining, and enhancing complex and diverse software systems such as processing‑intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real‑time systems, and business management information systems based upon documented requirements.
• Contributing to cutting‑edge development programs and designing new solutions.
• Innovating RF signal processing applications.
• Developing analytics, visualization and discovery tools.
• Integrating new and legacy software across a variety of hardware form factors.
• Reviewing and testing software components to ensure adherence to design requirements and documenting test results.
• Resolving software problem reports.
• Providing specific input to the software components of system design, including hardware/software trade‑offs, reuse, use of COTS/GOTS, and requirements analysis from system level to individual components.

• TS/SCI security clearance with agency‑appropriate polygraph (US citizenship required).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline (or equivalent experience: four years of SWE experience on projects with similar software processes).
• No other specific education or experience requirements.

• Proficiency working in Linux development environments.
• Proficiency coding in Python, C++, Java, or JavaScript.

• Experience with Software‑Defined Radio (SDR) programming.
• Experience with geospatial processing.
• Experience coding 2D and 3D image displays.
• Experience with Git Lab, Git Hub, or similar version control tools.
• Experience with Jira/Confluence or similar project management tools.

Pay Range: $34.06 – $82.53 per hour. This is a general guideline; compensation may vary based on contract rates, education, experience, skills, certifications, and location.
