POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Program Director and in cooperation with other staff, and consistent with the Christian Mission of the YMCA, the Youth Sports Staff will be directly responsible for the set up and inventory of sports equipment, assisting with lining of fields and set up, mandatory attendance on game days for youth (ages 3 to 10) sports. He/She will assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of all new youth sports programs.
This also includes; basketball, baseball, softball, flag football, tournaments, camps, clinics, and other responsibilities as assigned. He/She must be enthusiastic and display strong interpersonal skills that will afford them the opportunity to develop positive relationships with coaches, children, and parents.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications required.
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications required.
- Must have initiative and ability to complete basic tasks with sports equipment and field maintenance.
- Must have knowledge of sport and rules regarding specific league.
- They must present a professional image and be able to create harmonious relationships with staff.
- He/she must demonstrate good communication skills.
- Ability to plan, lead, and participate in program activities in a variety of indoor and/or outdoor settings.
- Cleaning and sanitizing of multiple areas and multiple times throughout the day.
