This position is responsible for delivering products, including hazardous materials, to customers from Sherwin-Williams stores using box and flat‑bed trucks. Drivers ensure deliveries are complete, packed correctly, and safely delivered to the correct customer. Drivers are accountable for customer satisfaction and for transporting items in a safe, timely manner.
The selected candidate will work at Store #705938, located at 11211 Mt Hermon Rd, Salisbury, MD 21804.

Responsibilities- Ensure deliveries are prepared to meet customer requirements efficiently.
- Load customer orders properly on the truck.
- Ensure appropriate forms are completed.
- Load, transport, and deliver items to customers safely and on time.
- Maintain the store vehicle and alert the supervisor to repair and servicing needs.
- Provide excellent customer service, answer questions, and handle complaints.
- Adhere to assigned routes and follow time schedules.
- Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
- Prepare reports and documents relating to deliveries.
- Operate equipment and machines, such as trucks and forklift equipment.
- Perform other store tasks, including warehouse duties and customer order preparation.
Minimum Requirements
- Must be at least twenty‑one (21) years of age.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship.
- Must have a valid, unrestricted Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a hazardous materials endorsement.
- Must possess a valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MEC) from a DOT licensed medical examiner or be willing to obtain one within five business days of a conditional offer.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must read and speak English sufficiently for public interaction, traffic sign comprehension, and official record entries.
- If internal to Sherwin‑Williams, must have received at least a “meets expectations” rating on the most recent performance appraisal.
- If internal to Sherwin‑Williams, must have completed all required HR Cloud eLearning courses for the current position.
- High School diploma or GED.
- At least one year of experience as a delivery driver.
- At least one year of experience using material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks).
- Previous experience selling paint or paint‑related products.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in more than one language.
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish.
