About the role
As Captain, you will serve as Pilot in Command (PIC) for primarily domestic missions with potential cross-border operations, ensuring full compliance with FAA regulations and company SOPs. This role is ideal for a type-rated leader who thrives in a dynamic corporate environment and is comfortable making sound decisions in a fast-moving schedule.
What you'll do- Serve as PIC on the Cessna Citation Excel/XLS/XLS+ under FAR Part 91.
- Plan and execute every phase of flight: performance and weight-and-balance, weather/NOTAM review, fuel and alternates, routing, and risk assessment.
- Ensure regulatory compliance with FAR Part 91 and applicable ICAO Annex differences.
- Coordinate closely with flight scheduling, leveraging mobile scheduling apps, EFB/iPad, and modern avionics to keep trips on time.
- Uphold SOPs, checklists, and safety best practices; complete thorough pre- and post-flight inspections and documentation.
- Partner with maintenance to log discrepancies and keep aircraft airworthy; communicate status to stakeholders.
- Provide confident, discreet client service and lead by example in the cockpit, mentoring the SIC when applicable.
- Maintain currency and complete required training, including recurrent simulator events and systems proficiency.
- Total Time: 4,000 hours
- Multi-Engine Jet: 2,000 hours
- Type Rating:
Required (Citation Excel/XLS/XLS+ — CE-560XL) - License: ATP —
FAA - Medical:
Class 2 - Work Authorization:
United States (no visa sponsorship)
- 4+ years of domestic experience as PIC in a corporate or commercial aviation setting, or as determined otherwise appropriate by the ADUSA Aviation Chief Pilot.
- Three-plus (3+) years of experience on Cessna Citation XLS+ (or similar) operated by RBS Aviation, or as determined otherwise appropriate by the ADUSA Aviation Chief Pilot.
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree or comparable FAR Part 91 flight operations experience - Operations:
Broad knowledge of all functions related to aircraft operations - Systems & Avionics:
Thorough knowledge of advanced aircraft systems and avionics - Regulatory:
Thorough familiarity with FAA FAR Part 91 and ICAO Annexes (filed Differences) - Scheduling:
Knowledge of aircraft scheduling, including mobile technology applications - Tools:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, iPad, and related software applications - Other:
Valid driver’s license; excellent interpersonal and communication skills
