Checker, Warehouse

Hours: 11 AM to 8 PM.

Must be comfortable with overtime as needed.

Effective management of loading operations to include orders filling/loading of applicable delivery vehicles. Provide direction of 15‑20 hourly employees. Oversees product breakage management.

• Effectively communicate both orally and in writing.
• Expense control and implementing safety initiatives.
• Train others to assist in warehouse functions.
• Manage product loading and housekeeping standards.
• Recommend discipline to Warehouse Supervisor/Manager/Director regarding employee work rule violations.
• Tracks daily picking standards for warehouse associate productivity.
• Checks in drivers ending inventory through driver’s hand held.
• Checks bulk & conventional picking orders for accuracy.
• Pulls bulk orders for warehouse pickers as needed.
• Covers delivery supervisors’ responsibilities as needed.
• Performs Physical Inventory counts daily/ weekly.
• Must be proficient on computers.
• Performs Route Reconciliation daily.
• Performs other job‑related duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field and 2 years Warehouse Supervisory experience; OR 5 years Warehouse Supervisory experience.
• Has knowledge of commonly‑used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
• Related training or certification.
• Experience working in a team environment.
