Location:
Rowan Regional Medical Center, Salisbury, NC - Behavioral Health Department
Schedule:
Full-Time, Monday
-Friday 8:00-5:00pm with some flexibility
Novant Health is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Specialist II to support departmental operations through high-level administrative and clerical tasks. Whether working independently or as part of a team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring smooth day-to-day functions and serve as a trusted resource to staff in the Behavioral Health Department.
What You'll Do:
* Payroll and timekeeping (attendance tracking and etc.)
* Provide comprehensive administrative support to leadership and team members
* Manage departmental communications, scheduling, and documentation
* Meeting coordination and meeting minutes
* Contribute to a collaborative and efficient work environment
* Vendor coordination
* Invoice and work order management
What We're Looking For:
* Education:
High School Diploma or GED, required. Education in basic office procedures.
* Experience:
Two years of administrative support experience, required. Administrative support experience, preferred.
* Additional Skills (required):
* Ability to effectively communicate with physicians and hospital staff. Ability to use a variety of software packages, such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, etc., to produce correspondence and documents and maintain presentations, records, spreadsheets and databases;
Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Communication:
Creates an environment that supports and respects diversity to promote creative problem solving. Communicates the value of activities within the organization and community to gain cooperation and collaborative partnership.
* Customer Service:
Holds staff accountable for customer service standards and ensures service recovery when needed. Ensures staff responds to customers in a timely manner.

* Digital Fluency:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, specifically Excel, Word, Teams, and PowerPoint.
