Piper Companies is seeking a Senior Project Analyst (PMO Governance) to join a well-established organization within the retail and technology industry for a hybrid permanent position based in Salisbury, North Carolina
. The Senior Project Analyst (PMO Governance) will play a critical role in supporting enterprise project governance, improving operational processes, and ensuring project teams follow established delivery standards across a diverse portfolio of business and technology initiatives.
- Partner with PMO leadership to maintain governance practices, project controls, and delivery frameworks across multiple initiatives.
- Create and manage key project artifacts, including project plans, business requirements, risk logs, executive updates, and process documentation.
- Engage business partners and technical teams to elicit requirements, evaluate workflows, and identify opportunities for operational improvement.
- Monitor project health by tracking milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and performance metrics while supporting governance reviews.
- Prepare reporting dashboards and presentations for leadership and assist with solution validation, testing efforts, and project lifecycle activities.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
- 5+ years of experience in project management, PMO support, business analysis, portfolio management, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience supporting governance programs, project oversight functions, or enterprise PMO operations.
- Strong knowledge of project delivery methodologies, SDLC processes, and requirements management practices.
- Hands-on experience with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Power BI, Clarity, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, SAFe, and Kanban delivery approaches.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results in a dynamic business environment.
Salary Range: $95,000-$115,000/year (USD)
