PUBLIC WORKS STREET CREW LEADER (SPECIAL PROJECTS)
Minimum Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED
- 3–5 years of experience in construction or a related field
- Trenching and Shoring knowledge
- Skilled in operating construction equipment and tools
- Valid North Carolina Class A Commercial Driver's License
- Ability to work after normal business hours in on-call and emergency situations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Some college or technical school training
- Prior experience working in municipal or government public works operations
- Strong knowledge of construction-related work, including concrete, Asphalt, & Stormwater
- Certification in work zone safety, flagging, or traffic control
- OSHA 10-hour or 30-hour Construction Safety certification
- Demonstrated experience in crew scheduling and project coordination
