Middle School English Language Arts Teacher Position Overview
Sacred Heart Catholic School in Salisbury, North Carolina, is seeking a passionate, faith-filled Middle School English Language Arts Teacher to join our vibrant and mission-driven community. Responsibilities- Teach Middle School English Language Arts (Grades 6–8)
- Develop and deliver engaging, standards-aligned lessons in literature, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and critical thinking
- Foster a classroom culture rooted in respect, perseverance, and virtue
- Integrate Catholic values and worldview across the curriculum
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
- Utilize data to inform instruction and support student growth
- Communicate effectively and professionally with families
- Collaborate with colleagues in Professional Learning Communities
- Participate fully in school life, including Mass, retreats, and community events
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or related field
- Strong classroom management skills
- Passion for forming adolescents in both faith and intellect
