Salary: £35,000 – £55,000 (DOE)

Location: Salisbury

Construo Recruitment is working in partnership with a specialist engineering company to recruit an experienced CAD Technician.

Operating within the wastewater sector, the business delivers a range of engineering and construction services. This role offers the opportunity to work on varied technical projects, producing detailed drawings and supporting project delivery from concept through to fabrication.

Based near Salisbury, this is a site-focused position requiring collaboration with internal teams and the wider supply chain.

• Conduct site surveys to gather project information and requirements
• Produce 2D and 3D general arrangement drawings
• Develop detailed fabrication drawings and technical documentation
• Prepare parts lists and fixing schedules
• Support procurement processes through liaison with suppliers and subcontractors
• Maintain quality control standards across all drawings and documentation
• Manage and organise project documentation in line with company procedures
• Ensure compliance with client asset standards and specifications
• Carry out 3D modelling to support design and delivery

• Minimum 3 years’ experience using CAD software within an engineering or construction environment
• Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Fusion, and Tekla Structures
• Strong technical understanding and high attention to detail
• Experience working on engineering or construction-related projects
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
• Full UK driving licence
• Must live within a commutable distance of Salisbury due to location
