Schneider Electric USA, Inc. seeks a Principal Electrical Engineer in Salisbury, NC.

Job Description:

Translate ETO customer requirements into customized IPaCS solutions for medium-high complexity projects. Create accurate electrical control diagrams in AutoCAD for IPaCS Solution from customer supplied documentation and system generated drawings. Apply protection, monitoring, metering and control solutions in integrated Power and Control Solution equipment. Verify that released designs meet UL certification for IPaCS Solution. Remote eligible up to 2 dys/wk.

Requirements:
Position requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Electronic or Electrical Engineering, or related field and 3 years of progressive, post-Bachelor’s experience in switchboard and panel board electrical design engineering, or related occupation. Must include at least some experience in the following skills:

  • Creating bill of materials (BOM), control schematics and electrical drawings using SE tools
  • Creating complex wiring schematics and peer check orders
  • Creating custom panel board and switchboard for SE facility manufacture
  • Providing training in low voltage products (IPaCS Products)
  • UL 891 switchboard application
  • UL 67 Panel board application
  • Integrated Power and Control Solution application
