Pay: $19/hour

Job Description

We are seeking a Device Setup Technician to support our Windows 11 upgrade project. This role involves completing the setup of Windows 11 devices and following documented scripts to configure required software and settings. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with computers, has strong technical aptitude, and is able to follow step‑by‑step processes accurately.

Responsibilities
  • Complete setup and configuration of Windows 11 computers according to established procedures and scripts
  • Install and configure software applications and device settings as outlined by the project team
  • Perform data entry tasks related to tracking device status, configuration steps, and project progress
  • Use Excel and other Microsoft Office applications to document work and maintain accurate records
  • Communicate clearly with team members regarding device issues, progress updates, or procedural questions
  • Troubleshoot basic technical problems during setup and escalate when needed
  • Send email communications to users regarding their upgrade as needed.
Qualifications
  • Strong computer knowledge: experience with Windows operating systems required
  • Background in desktop support, IT help desk, or similar technical role preferred
  • Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to follow structured instructions and process documentation
